Another option is to sign up to newsletters of Web sites you're interested in. That way, you would receive notice as soon as they offer a great deal -- and thus wouldn't need to keep searching day in and day out.

Actually, here in Europe, we only think about of Ryanair when we want cheaper flights... and indeed, if one is wise and practical enough, flights can be really much cheaper.
