Getting Bumped: 5 Easy Steps to a Free Flight

1. Call the airline the night before your flight to ask if it is overbooked.

2. Print off the flight schedules for all of the other airlines leaving for your destination from the departure airport.

3. Get to the airport gate 90 minutes before scheduled departure to make sure you are first in line at check-in.

4. Volunteer, but before agreeing to be bumped, make certain the airline is offering a free ticket.

5. If you get bumped from the next flight, repeat the above steps. You could get a second free ticket in one day!
